Followup after earlier feedback in this post. There are minor spoilers in this post.
It was good to see that some issues I submitted in aforementioned post were fixed in 0.8.2b. Thanks for listening! :) With this, I'd like to submit my new findings since 0.8.2b went live:
Again, first the things I liked:
- I'd like to mention the sublime response to bug mentions through Discord or this forum, and the followup towards a patch.
- Those darn-sexy INQ:M wallpapers you have in your office
- Magnificent cut-scene like popup videos from data slates
- Less screen stuttering or display issues
- How you guys deal with the sh*t from the darker parts of the community, while providing correct and swift communication / attention to those who are actually trying to be helpful. let's not forget; we're still in beta :)
Furthermore, some bugs I found since the last patch:
- The thin needle like pillars in the corridors are often invisible, and only appear once you hit them or destroy them. See screenshot below where the shadow is visible, but not the pillar.
- Oath papers on Crusader armor often moves strangely where it stretches out, or even flapping around like an insane spidermonkey. see below for a screenshot. (the white-ish line in the snapshot is my oath paper)
- In the Inner Sanctum mission, my character fell down through the floor, where the ground was covered with perforated metal sheets. You are able to get back up by continuously moving towards another spot. Dichnich also reported it in this post.
- In the Alpha Pariah mission, the artillery piece located with the final boss did not have a name tag yet, instead its asset name was displayed. The same happened with the bunker I had to destroy with artillery fire, I forgot what the name of the mission was.
- A Hunt rebel mission (tarot) continuously crashed the client upon entry after loading in. It's a similar issue like the one with the Panic Room gamemode. HeavyMetalMan also reported a similar thing in this post.
