New Features

Skip Campaign option

We'd like the players to experience Inquisitor - Martyr's story Campaign at least one time, but after you've finished it, we'd like to offer the players an option to skip the story Campaign when starting a fresh, new character.

What happens when you create a "Skip Campaign" character:

  • When you create your character, you are prompted to chose from a Radical or a Puritan character
    • Radical characters start with 300 Radical Morality points
    • Puritan characters start with 300 Puritan Morality points
    • This is needed to compensate for the Morality points rewarded within the Campaign, plus it was almost impossible to reach maximum morality in the past
  • All characters will start at level 1 with default gear
  • You are immediately on the unlocked Command Bridge with all NPCs available
  • All subsectors are unlocked on the starmap
  • Mission Deployment is available
  • Co-op features are available
  • Void Crusade's level requirement (35) remains unchanged
  • You can start your character's journey by playing any mission from the starmap or from the Mission Deployment
  • Note that you cannot play any campaign missions with this character, because the game considers them "done" already. If you want to play the story missions again, create a new character without the "Skip campaign" option.

How to skip the Campaign

  • Players can create a new character with the "Skip Campaign" option, when they are eligible to do so
  • Players are eligible to skip the Campaign, when they have
    • finished Martyr's main Campaign
    • finished the Prophecy expansion (if they own it)
    • finished all the side content. These are: The Enemy Below, Viper's Nest, Harbingers of Hate, and the Drukhari and Khorne expansions.
  • Standalone Prophecy owners need to finish the Prophecy expansion as well as the mentioned side content, to be eligible to create a "Skip Campaign" Tech-Adept.
  • If you finished Martyr's Campaign only, but not Prophecy, you can create a "partial skip" character, which takes you to the beginning of the Prophecy story.

Mark items as Favourite

  • You can now mark any of your items as Favourites in your inventory. Marked items cannot be sold or salvaged at vendors.
  • You can mark/unmark your items any time by clicking on the small star icon on the top left corner of the item, or with controller, selecting the item with X, then pressing Y to mark/unmark it.

Sorting

  • The regular sorting options will not affect the marked items. They stay where you put them in your inventory, regardless how you sort your other items.
  • A new "Sort by Favourite" option is available, by which you can group your marked items to the top (or to the end) of your inventory.

Balance

  • Multiple Archeotech Shard effects of the same type can now be stacked within the same item

Fixed Bugs

  • Fixed an issue where the Store sold low-level items for higher level characters
  • Fixed Combo weapon animations for the Battle Sister

Hey guys, the Skip campaign function is either bugged or you didnt explain it clearly.

I can only skip the campaign on the Class which i used to clear the campaign and all side missions before.

In my case the Tech adept. Now i can only use the skip campaign function if i create a new Tech adept!

I don't really understand your comment.

When creating a new character - whether seasonal or non-seasonal - you can use the skip campaign option to automatically have it completed.

No i can only use it on a new Tech adept. My old tech adept is the only one Which completed everything before. All stories and side missions. I can not create a new Crusader for example and use the campaign skip, i can only use it on the Tech adept!

That's because you haven't completed the original Martyr campaign. You completed only the Prophecy campaign.

Ultimate Escalation (kill all 10 seasonal bosses) is such a pain.

Not only is the spawn rate abysmal, you can get duplicate bosses.
While the chance to get any boss might be 15% (does not match my experience), the chance to get a specific boss, as in the last one you are missing, is so much lower.
You basically have to pass the 10% roll for the right faction and the 15% roll for boss spawn, making it an actual 1.5% chance...

Who approved this?
What were they smoking at the time?

I spend the whole day running valorous heart followed by 1 - 4 seasonal missions (coop) and found 4 different bosses.
This is so demoralizing as you feel like you are making no progress at all most of the time.
With the 50.000 shards ast season, you could at least see the number creep up after every mission

I am also stuck, 15% is low and that with 10 factions is even harder.

I have been farming nonestop at max level now, and those bosses dont spawn at all.

After hitting max level and farming only for those seasonal missions, i havent even got 1 boss to spawn.

either the spawn chance of each boss is 1.5% (excluding the faction math)

and i got lucky before. Or its literally bugged.

This Season of Escalation could have been maybe one of the better Season so far for Inquisitor. But ultimately completely utterly destroyed by the mechanic which consists of having a so-called Ultra rare item which is so easily to obtain that it becomes not the slightest funny to even have it. It is good-looking, but would be even greater having it if it actually were DAMN HARD to actually get it. The ULTRA RARE item has become an actual joke.

Having a "Challenge" which is based on pure LUCK is THE MOST STUPIDEST thing to EVER have in any game. I´m starting to wonder what on earth was the Developers EVER thinking about??!!? Hey, let the players GRIND to the point of extinction and then MAYBE with EXTREME luck they just MIGHT get this Challenge done if they are EVER lucky enough to even find the specific ones they need.

I mean, what kind of Mechanic IS this? I don´t want "Challenges" that are purely based on LUCK. I want Challenges that is actually CHALLENGING you know. I want Challenges that are DIFFICULT to achieve. HARD to do and may involve HARD WORK.

Ultimate Escalation Bosses? = STUPID. Not Challenging.

Hey, I go buy a TON load of Lottery Tickets too for that Million $$$ price. I MIGHT just get LUCKY!!!

This is not fun. It just becomes boring.

I say start making the Challenges and Seasons actually HARDER to do. And not based on Luckiness, Stupidness and Repeatedness.

Also what Escalation has ended up in is that it is nothing but a pure COPY of Season 4 & 5. Copying some mechanics of previous Seasons may not be a BAD Decision, but PLEASE!!!, when it is done, make sure it is done PROPERLY.
