I'm stuck at 76% progress and have been since the beginning of the season. Do I need to get a total of 5k Fate points again because I got the original 76 on a seasonal character that has since been deleted?

Gamer tag is Synthus85 XSX

EDIT- I continued to collect Fate and it seems like I did have to collect the full 5k all over again.
