Feedback on camera angles

Just some quick feedback on the camera

1) I'm finding having the middle mouse button bound for rotation to be quite fiddly when the mouse is primarily for move/look/shoot etc.  It would be beneficial to let us re-bind this key, but also add in options for manual controls for rotation so that you can use your other hand and keys (so using A and D for example) to rotate the camera left and right.

2) Depending on the camera angle, moving through doorways often finds you blind to what's in front of you, meaning you charge in to rooms without really knowing what's coming up.  You can often find a camera angle that mitigates this problem but as in my point above this is fiddly and often slows the pace of the game down.  Could the fade out on door frames be set from further away perhaps?

I fully agree on this.

It would be nice to tilt further down and have some more control in general about the camera angle.

Maybe later on, we will extend the limits, but currently it would lead to major performance issue.

Adding a camera rotate option on the keyboard would help significantly. And as was said previously, with the camera going into crowded hallways can kill you because you cannot see the mobs that are spawned.

+1
Agreed more camera control would be nice.

I'm thinking this game might benefit greatly from the option to get some sort of an over the shoulder look rather than a top down one. As said before in this thread, this game isn't about open spaces but about cramped corridors and intersections. I've died several times because I need to walk into a corridor or room before I can spot any enemies, only to find the room or corridor packed with enemies that just swamp me. Easily fixed if you'd actually be able to look into the room from the previous section. Now the camera is blocked sometimes by the transfer into the next section and such. Plus the constant re-positioning of the camera really takes the drive out of the game...

I agree with the statements from everyone else, more control on how far the camera can tilt and the ability to bind to other keys for camera angle.

Agreed on both points.

I'd personally like to be able to tilt the camera further down.

This game's levels aren't like Van Helsing's open spaces. The levels are tight and almost claustrophobic (not a bad thing).

Tilting further would give you more option to plan your skirmishes.
