As our developers checked there was no problem with your character. Most likely the issue appeared because the disconnection affected the mission which as a result was not completed and you left behind your friends.

They didnt get stuck on the previous chapter but I disconnected from the session during a mission and now it wont let me play campaign with them die to ot saying I've not progressed far enough

May I ask who are they who are on Chapter 2? Did you fellow players got stuck in a previous chapter? If yes please let me know their Gamertag so we can check their account.
