Welcome to 2025!

Following a short holiday break, we are now ready to delve into the new year, to meet its challenges and seize its opportunities. That sort of thing. There is of course little to talk about outside of official announcements, but we still wanted to share our general plans with you. Just a quick overview of what we want to do this year.

In short, we will continue to receive feedback and continue ongoing support for our already existing games. But we are preparing to set sails to new horizons as well.

King Arthur

What's next for Avalon? Currently, our focus is on the console versions, we are aware that there are tales still left untold.

First, the "Painted Devils" and "Rogues and Renegades" Skirmish Pack DLCs for King Arthur: Knight's Tale will be released soon for the general audience, meaning they will no longer only be available to players who have preordered the game. For Xbox Series X|S this already happened on January 28, PlayStation 5 users will be able to access the DLCs on February 5, 2025. Additionally, the "Camelot's Fortune Pack" DLC will also be accessible to all.

Alongside this, we are preparing for the release of King Arthur: Legion IX for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game is ready for a new audience, and we are currently trying to pin down the right release date. This standalone continuation will let players return to Avalon as Gaius Julius Mento, tribune of the lost legion. He finds Avalon after wandering through Tartarus and sees an opportunity in the magical island. Conquest or redemption? It will be up to you how to use it.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor

It's hard to believe, but our action RPG will celebrate its seventh birthday this year, and it still has plenty to offer to new and old players alike. As for the PC version, in 2024, we have updated the seasonal system with the Seasonal Journey update, we added Offline Mode and we have released a new class DLC, namely the Hierophant Class.

For the console versions, our current priority is the much requested Offline Mode, which is a follow-up to the Seasonal Journey update we released in November (it includes all seasons, all of them can be played in perpetuity). Once this update is ready, you will be able to launch and play through the entirety of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr and its DLCs on PlayStation and Xbox consoles without an internet connection. The game will continue to support both game modes. Hopefully we can announce a release date shortly.

A new game

Are you ready? We are developing a new game. Hopefully this revelation isn't too upsetting, we are a game development studio after all. Still... can we say more? Dare we say more? Alright, alright. Why not?

The actual state of affairs: we are indeed gearing up to announce our new game in 2025! Just a bit later. Even though we don't want to spoil anything just yet, our excitement cannot be contained. So, here are some minor facts:

• This is our most ambitious project to date. NeocoreGames has grown both in size and in expertise, and we have decided to finally attempt something with a bigger scope, with considerable advances in technology and artistry as well.
• The game will introduce a new IP. Its world has existed in our minds for many-many years, and we finally have the chance and fortitude to fully realize it.
• Its genre will fit into our portfolio just nicely. In fact, it is a logical next step for our studio, a genre that we all love very dearly.
  
  

This is all we can reveal as of today. Seems like a solid plan for 2025, don't you think?
