While doing the void system I got my arse kicked so now that location is locked and I can 't go any further on that side is there anyway of me being able to do that location again in the future please

Nope! You need to finish the Void Crusade by doing one of the Supreme Missions or abandon it entirely. Then you can start a new one which will have all locations unlocked again.
