Skull for the Skull throne
Warhammer 40K DiscussionI bought the Inquisitor Martyr game at the beginning of the skull for the skull throne event. The game was always on my wish list and I though now was the time to buy since it was on sale. Also though it might be fun to try it out during an in game event so what the heck.
After putting 58 hours in the game and doing nothing but chaos crusades and missions fighting chaos forces I still only finished the event with 41 skulls. How is that even possible? spending 58 hours playing an in game event and also making sure to do only chaos missions? how much would I have had to play to get 100? oh and not to mention to make us of the event item you have to unlock it by collecting skulls?
I personally like the idea of unlocking equipment abilities. It needs to be doable though, because now your in game event is just a waste of time since i wasn't able to complete the event item. All those wasted hours trying to unlock it for it to just sit in my storage box until next year maybe? Doubt I'll even be playing the game then though, not really thrilled to play anymore.

I'm glad some players did achieve it.
I knew about the hunt missions and purge missions having the better chance. I went online and checked the forums to gather information. I really wanted to finish the event but even still, doing ONLY chaos missions and doing all hunt and purge missions first I was still left wanting.
I've already moved on to the next game at this point. I truly wish there would have been better information about the event as I probably would still be playing the game. Perhaps I really was doing something wrong. At this point though, having felt like I wasted 50+ hours to not achieve the end event just leaves a sour taste in my mouth and I won't be returning for some time.
We even as I recall, got the entire event extended.
I managed to get it full on 100 Skulls, and I finished about 8-9 days before the event was officially over.
I also noticed that the Missions that you had to do to have the best chance to find those Skulls was Hunt and Purge Missions. Even on some Callous Hunts, Daemon Incursion and Infestation Missions there was sometimes possible to find Skulls. So how you managed to not complete it, is beyond me.
In fact I was a bit annoyed and almost irritated when I was reading in the forum that some people managed to pull it all off and complete the entire thing within 5-7 hrs.
Anyway, all in all it was an all out ok-ish Event. The ITEM itself is not that big a deal. It is great in itself like that and all, and I do wish for more items like this, but the item of the event itself is only MOST useful if you plan on making a pure all-in Melee Character. The item will boost and help out your Character a lot very early on. From Lvl 10 to about Lvl 50. Maybe 60? But that is it.
And let´s face it, seriously. Really! How many ALL-IN Melee dude Maniacs are you actually going to make in this game?!
We are sorry to hear you could not unlock all the enchants on the Implant.
According to several players' feedback unlocking the enchants was possible within a relatively short period of time if one know what he/she should be looking for (mostly Hunt missions). On the other hand we will consider your feedback too in our post-event summary so the next-in-line events will likely to be more informative where to look for the targets.
