Reposting from Bug thread in case anyone here has insights.

So I've tried uninstalling and verifying game integrity via Steam. What happens is, every time I attempt to start the mission to find the Techpriest near game-start during the Caius Thorn investigation, every time I start the mission my game crashes with this error. I've troubleshot everything since release; uninstalled/re-installed, verified caches etc.

CoreTech2 error

Fatal error at

..\..\src\gamelogic\gamemode\gamemode_arpg.cpp(130): Map config file not found: SavingCaiusThorn_1

I've done a lot of looking around but haven't found any workarounds as yet.

Troubleshooting undertaken thus far.



If anyone knows how to get around this, I'd appreciate the assist!
