Lags in DLC

4

I played Warhammer 40k Martyr and although the game had some issued (repetitivness, problematic controlles) I liked the WH40K lore.

So I purchased the Pro[hecy DLC.

And while the original game run fine with high details, Prophecy is lagging, even just when in a character screen. When I move the mouse around passive items, it tooks like 3 seconds to show the popup windows with skill description.

The game itself is unplayable.

As I wrote before, the original game run without any problems.

Problem solved. Maybe it will be interesting to know what caused the problems.

It took me a day of checking if everything on the PC is ok, until I noticed, that while WH40K prophecy is running my Intel graphic card on the motherboard is running to 100%.

The game, for some unknown reason, switch the graphic card used from my NVidia GeForce to the Intel HD Graphic on the motherboard.

Switched it in the options and it runs fine.

Try disabling Temporal AA and Frame Blending in the options. We are also working on the optimization on our end, the upcoming patches will hopefully resolve the issue.

What are your computer specs Poe? Just because the original runs fine doesn't mean to say the expansion will as well. Mine is fine, but I have an i9-9900k with a HTX 2080ti.

Intel Core i5-5200U, RAM 8GB DDR3 1600MHz, NVIDIA GTX960M 2GB GDDR5

Yes, this is a 4 year old PC, but I'm still surprised, that the same game with same engine detoriates from "playable on high details" to "unplayable on low details" on the same hardware.

I played the original version just lask week and it was fine.

Now, even when returning the DLC the game could be unplayable, because it "upgraded" to Prophecy.
