Why is windows taskbar shown?

Why does not the full screen modes of all options work? None works for me. First time this is a problem for me in all games and programs I've ever tried.

Feels like something that should not be an issue but for this particular game it is, must be made by n00b heretics.

This should work, I also use full screen mode. Please verify game integrity in Steam.
