Ok, the grinder perk seemed to be working ok, until my last mission, a big spoils of war one on Vismar minoris. There I noticed that I definitely deal crit damage.

Also, you might wish to reconsider the name of the perk. Too much puns with grinding in arpgs and well, Grindr. Which is a prime example of Slanesh heresy, you know :)
