Got screwed on the co-op mode - BUYER BEWARE!

3

I must say, I'm a little f****g pissed right now. I've been following the Inquisitor Martyr for a while now, looking for a nice couch-coop game. I resigned from buying the Day One version as I saw it only had a very limited local co-op which was, in essence, a single player experience with the possibility of another player joining as an NPC. When I saw the 2.0 version, I was stoked as the patch notes said: The whole Martyr campaign is now playable in Co-Op except for the vehicular missions. So I had bought the damn game, and I got f***d, because both the PSN Store and the designers forgot to mention the co-op campaign is playable only online, and not in local co-op mode. Now, the PSN declines my refund, even though there's a clear disparity between what the game's supposed to offer and what it actually offers. So if you're planning on buying this game for local co-op DON'T. It's only a half baked c**p in which one player is the actual hero, and the other is just a non-important tagalong.

First, If you've been following Martyr for a while you would've known about the co-op since most major reputable sources, as well as dozens of YouTubers, had pros and cons for the games.

Second, not to 'sh*t' on your choice of consoles but it states in P$4 Terms of Services that it is your responsibility to ensure you understand your purchase and refunds are void as soon as download is initiated.

Third, more and more companies are mislabeling their games with 'co-op' (SAO Fatal Bullet) and 'MMO' (Destiny) and this where you, as a consumer, needs to exhaust all routes when researching a game

You are partially right, sir, but I have two 'buts':

- First, I had committed a few hours to search the Internet for information about the 2.0 version. No "major reputable source" mentioned that the local co-op wasn't fixed. Frankly, most info came from way back when Neocore released Day One version. All other sources state that The whole Martyr campaign is now playable in Co-Op except for the vehicular missions. They just forget to mention it does not cover local mode.

- Second, PS4 Terms of Service states the refunds are void as soon as download is initiated, unless the content is faulty. And in my opinion, it is faulty, because the game does not offer the functions mentioned in the release notes and/or the release notes are misleading. If that's not a fault, I don't know what is.

Our apologize for the inconvenience, we will correct the missing description as we immediately consulted with Sony on the matter.

We would like to ask you to send an email to our console provider - Bigben Interactive - who handles both the sale and the refund cases on console.
