Issue: Game freezes every 2-4 seconds and then tries to catch up.

I'm running an intel Core I7-7700K CPU @ 4.2 GHZ

64 GB of Ram

EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 TI with drivers up to date as of yesterday

Windows 10 Pro

I've tried adjusting the video settings from low to very high and checking and un-checking the advanced options and nothing seems to help. Game is unplayable for me and based on my computer specifications, I don't believe it should be. Any one else having similar issues? Is there anything I can do?

I was running into the issue at game start and it continued regardless of system and game restart. Your issue sounds a lot like a memory leak.

My brother and I are having the same problems, completely different setups.

Edit Postscript: However, they are intermittent, usually a game restart fixes the issue as well.

I ended up requesting a refund from Steam, I can't justify spending $50 on a game that doesn't run on a system that clearly exceeds the technical requirements with no path to fix it. I really enjoyed the game for the little bit I could actually play, but the content and quality of the game doesn't feel worth the amount charged.

Is this happening when your character speaks, or when you move into a new area? If so, this is what's happening to me and nothing I did fixes it.

I also tried turning all the graphic options off / turned down to no avail.

Edit* Using a similar computer set up to you as well.
