Co-Op games
Warhammer 40K DiscussionWhilst it is not unheard of for Inquisitors to 'team up' on occasions, I think it would be nice if we could play the companions as player characters in such games. The idea is that we could develop these characters with skills that would be more suitable to the members of an Inquisitors company than the main characters themselves. For example adding passive bonuses and, being able to 'assist' with those Investigation interrogations, etc.
Taking a step further if programming allowed, these companions could partake in the game and gain experience as npcs, in a similar manner that we can apparently have guardsmen attached to an Inquisitor; even have the option for other players to 'hire' them, for their own games thus increasing the experience of the npc. Just a couple of thoughts.

Will try again. Dercus, a good suggestion, given that it is already incorporated in an existing game from this company, cheers.
Edit: Seems that I too experienced the first paragraph of my reply disappearing.
They just have to reintroduce the system from Van Hellsing 2, where the resistence members could be sent on missions, on which they would gain experience and equipment. These can then be used in fortress defense to gain advantages or directly as an AI partner in the siege.
The co-op you explained would quickly die out I think - people would want to play the Inquisitor and not the henchmen. I think it's not unlikely that Inquisitors would pair up and purge together, which we also have the Cabals for later on. Not all Inquisitors are loners :)
EDIT The entire first part disappeared apparently... just wanted to say that henchmen would be cool, to bring to missions or send on missions of their own!
