Critical Hits


Hi Devs,

We are trying to create a build but when replacing +7.2 critical hit strength with a new 12% critical damage signum the critical damage output dropped significantly.

Can a team member please explain the difference between the two and what strength actually is.

Which is better +10 critical hit strength or 10% critical damage?

I would like to be able to explain to my viewers when they ask so this would be really helpful.

There are threshold levels you have to reach with critical strength to get the next bracket's effect, that why removing even a tiny bit of that stat can result is drastic damage output reduction. But, if you are already well over that level but not in the next bracket, it is possible to remove some and have no adverse effect.
