Black screen

6

So there is an Intel HD Graphics 630 "graphic card" in my Pc and a GeForce GTX 1660.

If both enabled I get black screen with sound and I can move the cursor.

If the intel card disabled I dont get the error but the game runs poorly.

Tried that but same issue. Last night I have found two workarounds to the problem.

- both cards enabled and  windows 8 compatibility mode. No black screen error but minor stuttering.

- both cards enabled and when the black screen error occurs I disable the CPU card (the screen comes back) then I enable it again. I played with this method for 2 hours last night without any problems.

What video card monitor is connected?

I think Intel HD Graphics 630 is builtin  CPU video. GeForce GTX 1660 - external video card. If You look these video cards comparison You can see that 1660 is much more powerful then HD630.

Check You monitor connection.

Yeah, it is. I don't know the technical details but when both graphics card enabled (inside the game the gtx is the primary card) the game goes black after 1-5 min. If I disable the CPU card then I can run the game without black screen but I have fps lags.

I don't have similar problems with any other game. (Hunt Showdown, God of War etc..) So it's not the monitor. My guess is it must be some issue with the settings in the nvida control panel

All this is very strange.

I played this game on 1660 some time ago - all was ok. But I never use 2 video cards at once. Try this. Download latest drivers from NVidia for Your 1660. Install it. Disable HD630 in the device manager. Reboot computer. Try to play game.I really don't know how Your HD630 can boost game perfomance in Your computer configuration.

One more thing.

Try to disable builtin video in BIOS and set PCIE card (1660) as a primary.

In Your case enabled hd630 absolutely useless.
