Feedback to V2.0

4

I spend more than 1 1/2h with switching between the different Screens and testing in 2 Short Missions, and so far I found some Positive - and 1 Extrem Negative Point.

Positives:

- I like the Option to use Uthers Tarot at each Missions, even it's broken (using 100 Fate, really what a stupid Bug)

- I like the "Mission-Overview-Panel" (where you can see all active Missions)

- I like the Option to use my Inventory during a Mission

- other Things

Negative:

- The amount of gained Fate is much to low. New Players, and every Player that has stopped playing/farming Fate in the last 6 Months have no real Chance to collect the required 12.000+ Fate for all of the Minor DLC. With 2-5 Fate for 1 Single Mission we have to spend an entire Year - or more - to unlock only the Half of the DLC, especialy if we want to spend some Fate into Omicron. I "Dislike" this special Decission with all of the Frustration I can express without being disrespectful. Please note: Players like me, that got disappointed of the Game during the last 12 Months will NOT spend any single Cent for the Minor DLC, especialy with such Pricetags. There is ALOT of Reputation you have lost since Release, and you will NOT receive Reputation by following this kind of Strategy.

Thanks for your feedback, glad to hear most of the changes suit your taste!

As for the Fate points, you can earn more in campaign missions, Intel missions, Warzone etc. The amount was reduced for regular missions intentionally, since Tarot missions, the main Fate-spenders previously, are completely free now.

Hello,

I played to the 1.3.3 of Martyr.

I tried yesterday the 2.0.

I was a litle bit exiting to try it.

So now,  I was disoinpointing....

The gameplay is very slow, I played crusader with plasma canon (power weapon).

And now, all the weapon skills relaod silultanaly and the armor weapon same = you can use only once skill at the same time.

And now, my feeling :

- Slow

- Boring

==> Don't want to play anymore : frustrating !

Before, the gameplay with plasma canon was a pleasure, you needed to manage the owerheat of your weapon, but you could busrt ennemies quickly and fall back if necessary !

Second point, the view inthe game, I find it less immersive.

Otherway, the so many goods thing add and right update in the game, But a game need to have a good gameplay, and for me it's exactly the contrary with plasma canon.

To conclude : I liked to play Martyr befor 2.0, now I don't want. Simply.... (Give me back, please, the gameplay of the plasma canon before the 2.0)

Thank You for that Information, thie Intel-Mission I played just before the Maintenance worked as intended.

But as others already stated here/at the Steam Hub: It would be really nice if we can receive Fate for selling Purple/Relic Equipment (atleast 1 Point).

I concur. The global cooldown is the worst part of the update so far. I do like all the changes to increase the speed of the game but throwing in this global cooldown feels like you're sabotaging your own efforts. This global cooldown takes away the fluidity of the combat. It was slow before, yes, but I didn't mind that, because it felt deliberate and calculated. Now it may be much faster but it also feels jerky and clunky by comparison. I've had so many skills not fire because I clicked on them too quickly. I would understand a global cooldown of 0.5 secs after switching weapons if you got 100% cooldown on it (if that that's even possible) or if you had made something like 0.2 sec global cooldowns to avoid spamming. To me it seems like you had to put that cooldown there because other changes allowed exploitation of the new speed. If so, I really hope you can get that fixed properly, because I really enjoyed being able to switch quickly between abilities, like my with a Psyker alternating Bioblast with weapon skills.
