I just got the ultimate edition for PS5 and during the tutorial missions whenever an NPC has a dialogue box appear in the top right section of the screen like Captain Van Wynter, the actual voice lines do not play, just the text appears next to the box. My characters voice line responses are playing normally. 

Edit: Issue solved, I had my controller speaker turned down to zero in ps5 setting for some reason *facepalm*
