Chat not working?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can's seem to get the chat working.

Sometimes I can see ppl talking but I can never reply. I write something, hit enter and....nothing.

Did not find any "mute / disable chat" etc options that I might have presumably activated...

The global chat caused server issues so that's why we had to disable it.

It will be available as soon as it is fixed.

Pretty sure it hasn't worked since release. I have never been able to chat in a Coop game as well.
