PS4 stuttering bug

4

Playing on PS4 as a seasonal character (Psyker).  I finally got a really good roll on an item that boosted both my Force and Resilience stats to the point they were both able to be maxed out.  I did so and then continued playing and ran into an issue.

The game began to stutter, badly.  I tried several different missions, mission types, reset my router, did a connection test, and everything else I could think of and the stutter remained (when I say stutter I mean it was like the game was massively lagging and did so throughout the entirety of every mission I ran).

I googled around and found another thread where some guy playing as a Crusader said his middle stat being maxed made the same thing happen.  I tried lowering my Resilience not thinking it would have any effect and lo and behold as long as I don’t have the final perk (meaning as long as it isn’t at 25 or over) the stutter entirely disappears.

Since those final perks are game changing this is a pretty important bug.  I don’t know if it affects other classes, as I said I’m playing seasonal right now and trying to get the tasks completed and I don’t want to work on another character to check just yet (I will do so in the future, probably next week or the week after).

This is a known bug but our team could not yet deal with it. Nevertheless, it hasn't been forgotten. I will ask the team to check on the problem as soon as they have some time during the development of the next Season.

I made a sidenote of lag/freezing occuring during missions when a lot of stuff happens at the same time in this post: PS5 - highly increased game crashes since new season.

The post is actually about crashes but I made a sidenote there because lag/freezing occurs during missions.
I have the top attribute maxed out at 25 and boosted to over 30. I'll test over the weekend if lowering the attribute improves the lag/freezing effects on my side.

It should lower the number of freezes. We had like 5 or 6 confirmations regarding this matter in the past.

I tested lowering the attribute, and it seems to help with the amount of freezes.

However,  that actually impacts my stats as I  have accuracy at 36 and it does lower my base damage by quite a bit if I change it to 24.

That being said, the freezes still occur but it seems after lowering it and increasing it again, the freezes/lag wel to stay reduced.

Since then, playing seems a little more fluid.
