[PC] Season 4 merge process

13

Fellow Inquisitors,

The end of the Season is closing in on us, and with it, it is time to recap what happens to your Seasonal characters.

First of all, after the Season of the Emyprean Echoes ends, there will be a two-week period to allow players to sort out their merged gear and characters and prepare for the new tasks.

Seasonal characters will simply become non-seasonal, regular characters, so you will be able to keep playing with them. The items you have on your characters, stash, and inventory will be also transferred over to non-season. Seasonal items with special names and enchants will remain - you might find some use to their special enchants during upcoming events!

There are several Seasonal mechanics tied to the Seasonal Journey and the Objectives in it - those rewards tied to the Journey will not be carried over, such as the Store discount bonuses. However, the remaining Seasonal Shards that your character might have, albeit not dropping or craftable anymore, will be carried through into non-season.

Currencies like Favor, Credits, and Fate will be simply merged into non-season. It is time to buy all that extra stuff with the goods you have earned! Crafting materials such as Sparks of Glory will be merged as well. Speaking of crafting, your blueprint charges on Seasonal characters should add up to your non-seasonal charges. All your unlocked blueprints, and Inoculator unlocks should be carried over safely as well.

Aside of items and crafting, Campaign and assignment progress is going to be carried over as well, of course, along with Ordo and Influence unlocks. Your Heroic Deeds that you have unlocked on your Seasonal Inquisitor should now be unlocked on your regular characters. Heroic Deed progress should be carried over and added to your existing progress, so you may get some additional unlocks!

Tarot Card progress should work in a bit different way: Unlocked tarot cards will be carried over, but for the cards in progress, the player will receive the same amount of tarot card items instead. Tarot Seals will simply be carried over and merged into non-Season.

Your active missions should remain so, such as Intels and Void Crusades.

When this all happens, there should be a longer maintenance period so we can ensure that everything is transferred over correctly. After this period ends, there will be two weeks of inter-Seasonal time so you can freely sort out your characters and stash.

As a reminder: Season of the Void Brethren will end on June 9!

Stay tuned for the launch date of Season 5!

I'm sorry to hear you lost the level 5 progress of some of your Tarot cards. Only by using this method could we transfer your Tarot progress from season to non-season.

The mechanic used for the Tarot cards saw my tier 5's all dumped to 4's. Knowing the standard of how the tarot works ( if you let all the cards max for their tier and don't upgrade them then you cant get locked up with them and cant do anything ( check new cards etc  ) till you level at least one card up. In prep for that merger i leveled all the cards i had in non seasonal so i could merge my seasonal progression into them. Instead of having the total of cards for each specific tarot added together ( seasonal and non seasonal ) i found myself stuck with the sum total of all the tarot i found during seasonal. With everything unlocked and having to randomly figure out what each one was...i lost all the tier 5's i managed to get during seasonal. Granted..ALL my cards are now at least 1/4- 1/2 into tier 4 but still.....THAT was an unexpected merge method.

Also note. Thank you for taking the advice given near the beginning of the year and extending the Glory rewards table. Quite nicely done.

One thing that NEEDS to become a permanent feature. Soulgrinder. Clearly a BOSS Encounter in Missions.

This is actually a good idea. I thought about a veteran medal or something like that for those who actively serve the peace of the Imperium. But the stamp is a good one too.

One thing came to mind when finally making my way into the Hall of Heroes. Not that it is anywhere near a MUST HAVE or anything, but...

Having a Plaque above or next to your Trophies with your Character name completing all your Tier Challenges, Season(s) name and date and maybe with some kind of cool stamp next to your Character name that indicates Completion of Season fully 5 Tiers. Anyway, just a thought.

Looks like I overlooked the seasonal casket tab on top of the screen. I thought all stuff has been put in the same storage. Problem solved!

Nice work. It seems that 'bloody' Void Crusade task could not pull a fast one on you this time. :)

Our colleagues checked your Seasonal storage's contents. They are all there. Please switch to your Seasonal storage and put all items into the non-Seasonal storage.

And I am also on the Hall of Heroes this time around.

Yeah, I know, may not be a big thing & time like that for everyone, but I am happy to this time be there. And it is just overall a nice good feeling.

There are quite a lot of items missing after the merge. I had 40 Extreme Fortunes in my seasonal character's stasis casket; 4 full stacks of meme virus (not really needed, but all the same, they are missing); and most importantly, almost a full tab of relic construct modules that are now missing.

I have a feeling more stuff is missing (or didn't merge correctly) from my stasis, but I can't remember too well what I had on my non-seasonal characters, to be honest...

Edit: and I've just noticed that from the seasonal shards I now only have the Inferno Shard - the rest have disappeared. I usually collect those in each season, due to their limited availability. Now they are gone.

The Tech-fragments were transferred as well, though it was not highlighted in the post above.

Inquisitors,

the maintenance successfully ended on PC, all Seasonal characters along with their items have been successfully merged into the non-Seasonal accounts. Please check all of your belongings and let us know if you experience any issue related to the merge process.
