No Sound effects

Hello,

Up until a few days ago the game was playing fine.  Now I have no sound effects when I play (footsteps, gunfire, voices, etc.)  Music plays fine and all effects/music working properly in other games.  

Checked options, everything on and at full volume.  Any idea what is going on?

Thanks for any replies, obviously it is just not the same without my bolter sounds!

Is there a way to reset the audio configuration to default on Steam?  It had been working since I joined months ago.  Almost sounds like incorrect stereo settings, like parts of sounds coming through.


Checked for updated audio drivers and whatnot...
