Non crit build is already viable because:
1. You don't need to invest ANY skill points in crit/crit strength
2. You don't need to invest ANY equipment stats in crit/crit strength
3. 1 perk gives a flat +30% damage increase at ALL times (they COULD buff this, but no need to nerf crit - Just make this 50%/70%/100%)
Characters NEED to feel overpowered in an ARPG, or what is the point of playing this game over other ARPGs? None.
The developer that can make people feel the most overpowered, people will play that game.
In PoE, people travel in lightning speeds, and kill a horde of mobs with a push of 1 button/1 skill eventually at max level with good gear. That's the way it is supposed to be.
In Diablo 2, it was like that as well, although even better with life leech and mana leech. Fully sustained chars, fully overpowered, and considered the best ARPG of all time.
@GROSSO
On release. With many sounds missing in current Beta.
No, I haven't actually tested Beta Psyker. But I do dislike the way it is made, Wychfire imbalance, graphics, spells... My lovingly crafted Psyker would looked something like villain Psyker, not some armoured guy with moustaches. Well, perhaps they'll add more models... How the hell such a thing like 100% invul passed the QA? To be honest, I thought that caster will be my favourite class (as usual, Caster > Melee tank > Dex-shooter or Dex-fighter, in my list of liking), but... This one fails me on so many places... As a consolation, I've found Dex-fighter abnormally fun - in need of some balance, but still...

@SNAKEFISTIFSO It don't take 1 day of Beta testing to find out that you can be immune to dmg with a level 3 psyker. You had 100% damage reduction. With some skill investment of 10 points tops you can keep that up 24/7. The Hardcaps are a good start and we can be lucky DR isn't linear anymore. Yes crit is far to OP but noone want's to realise it and simply downvote the hell out of every thread made about it because most players don't realy understand how crit works and how OP it is.
THANK YOU
You vould say so?
Come here, spill bunch of unargumented and (can't say it otherwise) uneducated opinions, and downvote HIM? Mighty Snakefist? In His Wisdom and Calmness, he won't answer to any of those 'claims' and 'reasons' until you actually put some argumentation behind it, for example why 100% crit is fine, where did you see it and what were exact condition where it appeared, same being said for 90% boosted and normal 70% Dodge...

Maybe that is your opinion, but that's not a general case for all ARPG's.
You could also turn this around, more people are playing ARPG's where the characters are completely overpowered, because every dumbass could play it and be the hero.
For me it's the whole package, that needs to be good in order to have a fun game. I think Inquisitor is quite a lot of fun, because you cannot just jump in hordes of enemies brain-afk while watching TV. In some occasions you just have to be careful and think, before you head into the groups and start the slaughter.
If you are more into games, where you are absolutely overpowered, please go ahead and play them. In that case Inquisitor might not be the right game for you.
In that case, Mighty Snakefist doesn't agree with (in that case) INSANE 50% crit chance! As stated many times, this is a road to hell! To be precise, Snakefist snakeself would never-ever go over 25% normal, 50% boosted (or 75%, if boost is very short). A 100%? Please reconsider this - leads to crit-builds being only feasibly choice...
Dodge 70% is uncontrollable, too...
You do realize that Dodge/Damage Reduction combo, even at 50% is terrifyingly strong for a melee, and being a melee virtually can't skip *some* resistances... Leading to a need for very high damage delievered from mobs, or else character is invulnerable with reasonable HPreg, and there are many place to get it...
By looking at each of these values, Snakefist finds them overpowered, if achievable (and during endgame or with multiple boosts some of them *will* be over 60% much earlier). These are not the values you are looking for...
Set this current order state as My default.
