40K: Inquisitor Enchant Viewer

20

Hi everyone!

For a while, the 40K: Inquisitor community has lacked easy-to-use information regarding the enchants that can appear on various item types. After some work data-mining the game files, I've completed the first version of a tool to remedy that situation. I'd like to introduce the **40K Inquisitor Enchant Viewer**, a tool for browsing item enchants for many common item types:

https://mome-borogove.github.io/40K-enchant-viewer/index.html

This tool is still under development, but it's ready enough that I thought people could start getting benefit from it. I welcome both feedback and bug reports if you have them.

Enjoy!

They reworked a lot of the ancients in the patch, and yeah, I'm pretty sure it's removed. So for seasonal stuff, you'll have to look elsewhere.

But don't worry, there's still a ton of massively overpowered builds running around out there. :)

Still it would be interesting if they removed the item from the game so you miss it even on old toons or it can not just drop anymore because beeing removed from  current loot table. NerfIng items is one thing but removing stuff in case without communicatIon  would be a  really bad approach. When I  read ppl have old warzone items iI guess it should be still there as legacy items at least... after all an unbalanced item in case is not the players fault but the game designers, so they should not put the burden on the gamer which might suffering twice - once from farming it and once from loosing it.

lol no, there are not...my old build could take out solo +14 elites in 1 second...
The best of what's left is a pale shadow...
If they nerf stun splode as well, it's GG.

Forgot to mention, Psyker is getting nerfed as well. lolol

I know its quite ordinary on weapons or some at leat. But i had one on a purity seal and that made it unique since it A) did work with all weapons and B) freed up the weapon slot for something else like leechIng.  So where has it gone? I remember farming my ass off to get my hands on one of these... after i spotted the item in featured in some builds around in the web.  I was lucky enough to get one myself. if they removed it thats it...

I'm pretty sure that one was intentional. However, it does still exists on some items. In fact, (checks enchant viewer), if you're wielding an Arc Blade, Arc Sword, Force Rod, Warp Rod, Telekinetic Rod, Force Staff, Pyrokinetic Staff, Wyrdvane Staff, Force Sword, Biomantic Sword, Aether Blade, Grenade Launcher, Power Hammer, or Thunder Hammer, you're in luck!

And it's a relic enchant, so you can always reroll one of those weapons until you find it, if you really want.

Thanks for sharing. I miss the purity seal  in the list that has "explode on killing stunned enemies".  IMO its was one of the very few truely unique items allowing for creative builds. Is there maybe a copy paste error in the list since its not there?  "Concussion" has 2 times the same effect in the listing? And I was hoping for more such items with the revamp of ancients...

Hey Bycrom. I actually data-mined the list of all ancient items from the patch a bit earlier in the season. You can find a full list here:

Hope that helps!

Very nice Initiative.  Used to dig into text listings but this is far more fun. Sad that they did not mention for instance the cooldown nerf of invulnerrabiliy holy armor in patch notes. Their quality departement really... I would be particularily interested in the new ancient relic enchantments to see if they add something on the table and do some theory build thing already, till it might hit consoles. Or if there is nothing in that bags for me again iI know I can already wipe  it

That is the single best thing I have seen for this game up to now. Since the game itself does not show the possible enchants, it is a very wonky gamble if the enchant is there or if it is not. Thanks to your tool, no gamble anymore. Thanks so much

I forgot to mention...it's not unusual for non-Nerfcore employees to come up with the best ideas. Sadly, most of them are not implemented, as it's strict Nerfcore policy to make bad (read: not good) decisions whenever possible.

I received a PM from Nerfcore's VP of Marketing after we discussed the game's future during our 2 hours and 30 minutes long brunch meeting. He has confirmed that this information will be added in the 2024 patch. Five years ahead of schedule. What a boss!

Oh yes sure, it's actually an archeotech shield. I forgot that they are on separate lists, sorry.

It would surely be great if you will manage to include also archeotech and ancients, but this is already very nice, thanks a lot!

Awesome work! I was already using your files, but this is much more handy.

I can't see "Damage bonus equal to deflect value" in off-hand relic enchants though, is it maybe missing? I have it on my suppression shield, so I was expecting to find it there.

Hi Stugis. Glad you like the tool.

I double-checked on this, and while the enchant does exist, the game files seem to indicate it only appears on archotech and ancient items, not plain relics. Can you confirm for me that the item you have is an archeo or ancient one?

Relic-quality suppression shields should only be able to roll the following:
Bonus_damage_after_Blocking, Chance_to_ap_based_on_deflect, Chance_to_fleshbane_based_on_deflect, Deflect_bonus_after_shield_block, Reflect_deflected_damage, Suppression_gain_and_pain_per_deflect

This tool doesn't support archeotech and ancient items yet. I've had a couple of people ask for it already, so I may add that in. I left it out because there's a bit of ambiguity and overlap between those and normal relics. I'll take a second look.

Excellent work. Rumor has it that Nerfcore will be adding this essential information to the game in 2029...fingers crossed!
