You can stack more than 100% of suppression damage reduction (currently at 106% at character sheet + 20% from Health tree) but still take quite an amount of suppression damage. Doesn't even look like 90% fair reduction, not much difference with 60%.

The cap (hard---there is no soft cap) is 75%. There's a bug in the UI that visually allows the value to exceed this and never show up in yellow text as a capped value should. The value isn't well-documented either. It is mentioned in the Season 1 Patch Notes (under the "Misc" section), but it should be more visible in-game.
