Dev came and saved me in 10-12 hours, was/is pretty legit, thank you very much!, sucks this glitch is happening but I'm glad theres a way to fix it, I've played a further 19 or so hours past this on the same character and another and haven't had any other glitches so its been cool.

Character is a crusader, I'm stuck at the end of chapter 2 and have been trying anything and everything to get him to show back up,uninstall reinstall, doing other quests, traveling to different systems, i'm lost but he has never appeared back in that alcove in the bottom left, also i have all the clues to turn and investigation in and it just sits there, i cant activate it or anything.
