Key Quality of life changes post-V2.9.2
- Have a group Cabal storage chest where fellow members can have a share group inventory (access to cabal shared chest can be authorized based on members level i.e. Lord etc.). Maybe also, when a Cabal reaches a certain level, they can have access to “special rare missions” or maybe “special vendors”. This could be another way for Cabal members to buy some unique gear dropped in the “raids”
- Have “set gear” that if you have 3-6 pieces you get added group attributes for each piece of the same gear you have. For example, look at Division 1 and 2 which did this well.
- Have a 4-person “group raid” with the added challenge of not just a raid boss but group puzzles (Warhammer 40,000K: Darktide has this with data terminals that you need to hack while someone is protecting you, so you do not get interrupted, also some else is picking up clues for hacking the terminal). The end group loot should be the highest quality with “unique very rare loot” that only drops in the Raid.
- Eliminate the weekly cap on “Cortex Fragments”. This should never be since if a player is willing to spend the time farming, they should be allowed to collect them. The special vendor “Rebus” appears 2x a week this is the only resource you can use to exchange for “Favor”. This is the only way for new players to buy “Pre-order bonuses” they missed out on certain cosmetics, emotes, banners, etc.
- Have preset saved for gear load-outs to save and label. This helps depending on certain mission parameters or groups (i.e. If I have a Psyker in my party I do not want weapons that do warp damage, need to change weapons to fire etc.-Division 2 does this very well).
- Allow people to leave the mission at the end (instead of a countdown, single player there is no countdown) and allow the party leader to continue for players who want to collect missed loot, look for secret teleporters, i.e. This should be easy to implement. Also, allow random matchmaking for void crusades.
- Allow players to preview all the possible attribute re-rolls if hovering over each attribute in the “modify” tab. This gives players a better understanding of what gear has certain attributes they can re-roll to what they want to so they can better understand how to make a build. I can not tell how frustrating it is trying to figure out what gear has certain attributes blinding re-rolling gear and wasting money.
- We need a loot trail/indicator (either in the mini-map or on-screen) that could be a carrot indicator or dashed lines with an arrow.
- “Loot tower challenge” climbing to fight harder bosses with a big reward at the end. This could replace “Warzone” since this is the most boring type of mission of the game. This could be a weekly achievement and offer unique gear/rewards
- Auto-Pickup on loot you missed and it will be collected to your chest (you can set it for Relic and above based on user preference).
