I agree with lowering the amount. I hit rank 50 yesterday and am 1486 gear score. I've completely fused out relics on a character and just need to modify the rolls. I'm only at 1 of 10 million. I don't feel the need to bash the PC guys cause they got away with a bug, but this requirement needs to be lower. At the pace this is going your looking at around 1 million a week with active gaming. The perk is not so crazy it should take 10 weeks or so to unlock. 

Well count this as another vote for reducing the requirement.  Money doesn't exactly come easily or in large quantities in this game.  Even if it was just 1 or 2 million, it would still require a significant time of saving.
