[SUggestion] Tarantula turret

7

Make the Tarantula Turret timed for 120 seconds then destroy itself as an explosion, or have the 1st turret destroy itself when a 4th turret is deployed?

As i like to deploy all 3 turrets and lead enemy into them. But afterwards i'm unable to redeploy a single turret until one of the other three is destroyed.

Also is it possible to have different type of Tarantula Turret e.g. Flamer, Rocket or even Metla-beam?

Maybe in order to tone down a bit the Tarantulas power, you could add a  skill branch called "Adeptus mechanicus"(or something like that). So you start with a somewhat "lame" turret and you unlock the capablilities to deploy more of them, increase its damage/hp, lower its deploy countdown, unlock other weapon types apart of dual bolters(plasma/flamethrower), etc...

Great idea it keeps to lore and gives customization with different combat possibilities. Thumbs up!

Either of these suggestions would work for me. Right now there's not much point in using the turrets because if they don't get destroyed you can't redeploy them. I'd really like to see different turret types! I'm not sure if the turrets and cyclon missiles are supposed to be "ultimate" abilities but they don't feel all that powerful. It'd be nice since they're the only abilities that the character has outside of weapons, if they felt a little more unique and special. The turret doesn't seem to shoot that often, or it has a hard time acquiring targets, but overall it just feels kind of underwhelming.

I'd like to see a skill tree for these abilities. Right now they're really the only thing that kind of denotes a "subclass" in the game. I'd like to be able to upgrade them. It would be a nice change from the mostly passive skill trees we have now.

It was possible in the tabletop most common were twin linked bolter or twin linked lascannon and If I remember correctly there was a single multi melta tarantula aswell.
