PC Version Unplayable due to low FPS/latency

6

I have about 30 hours of game play on Martyr/Prophecy with no issues.  Two days ago during game play, i had paused the game and shortly there after my computer decided to update windows. It did it automatically and i dont know why. I have had an unplayable amount of latency/low FPS since then. i have tried many different fixes (switching v sync, frame blending, windowed mode on/off, dropped settings to low, reinstalling the game, etc.) my system is as follows:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7500 CPU @ 3.40GHz   3.40 GHz
RAM16.0 GB
System type64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

Windows 10 Home
Version20H2
Installed on‎3/‎7/‎2021
OS build19042.1288
Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0

Please help, I am going through game with-drawls! lol

Fixes have been made on our backend, can you check if the problem is still there for you.

It didnt help.  I even went through the same process again of dropping to low rez, then turning on vsync and sync'ing the gpu to the cpu.  No value added.  my character has a weird viewing where it looses some of the pixels and leaves ghosts as it moves around.

Please then check if the exe utilizes your Nvidia card or only the integrated GPU. It might automatically switched somehow and that is why you receive such a severe lag.

I have been working via the messenger app with someone, still no improvements today i tried

  • Anti-aliasing
  • Frame Blending
  • V-Sync (being turned on reportedly helped some players)
  • Sync CPU to GPU
  • disabling Discord (to prevent the overlay)
  • limiting FPS to 60 (max for monitor)
  • disabling GeForce Experience overlay
  • disabled Steam overlay
  • Temp AA
  • High shaders
  • High effects

I was unable to find the antialiasing button so i went into my NVIDIA control panel and shut it off from there.

I am still at a loss as to how to fix this, but i appreciate your support continuing to try.

Then it has to be something with your Nvidia Card. You are likely having a very new Card. I am having an old Nvidia Card myself, and I have never ever had any issues with it.

Roll back again. Maybe try another Graphics Card. Roll back Windows version.

@BROTHER KUNDARI‍ mentioned a suggestion: check if your GPU is updated. If it is, then roll back to a previous version.
