Knights!

Gather around, for we have a new tale to tell.  On December 2, a new seasonal update will arrive to King Arthur: Knight's Tale called Rising Eclipse. 

The island of Avalon, the last bastion of both the Knights of the Round Table and the creatures of the ancient legends, is saturated by magic at its core. Now otherworldly earthquakes are threatening to tear it apart at its foundations. Strange rifts are opening up in the kingdom, oozing energies that are dangerous and uncontrollable. The Sídhe, the infamous lords and ladies of the twilight realms want to claim these fissures as their own as this ancient energy makes them even more powerful. Camelot must send out the best knights to deal with the Sídhe and the rifts before this all becomes a real threat.

Rising Eclipse is a new seasonal content update that consists of two important components.

The first is a brand new mission chain focusing on the Seelie and Unseelie Courts of Avalon, including new seasonal mechanics as well as a new seasonal building in Camelot. Stop the Sídhe from accessing the energy leaking from rifts, and reap the rewards for your heroic deeds.

The second part is a massive overhaul applied to the game, labeled as Patch 2.0. This patch is a response to community feedback and it will include:

• Quality of life improvements
• Class and character balance changes
• Brand new skills
• New building: Artificer's Workshop
• Rebalanced boss fights and maps
• Item updates 
• ...and much more.

This update - our biggest so far - along with the seasonal missions will be completely free for everyone who already owns the base game. The patch notes and more details will be shared as the release date approaches, again, on December 2, 2023.

And last but not least, for those who are asking with burning fervour, we can confirm that King Arthur: Knight's Tale is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X soon, but we'll talk more about those versions a bit later. We can also confirm that we're working on a big expansion featuring the Ninth Legion of Rome, coming to all platforms as well.
