Is Chapter One of the Alpha Pariah Possible?
Warhammer 40K DiscussionI have a strong build and damage: the enemies can't kill me even if I just stand there doing nothing and kill everything except villains/elites in 2-shots or less. The issue is that I'm supposed to protect a cogitator, but enemies come from either direction and immediately start shooting at it. Even if I jump to a group, kill it in a few seconds then run back across the room to the next group, I can't protect it. It just dies too quickly. Is there some trick I don't know? I haven't had any issue completing any mission prior to this and I'm lvl 65.

Are you sure its the same mission? I am stuck on it too. Mission one of "the Alpha Pariah" which is "Invaders on the Martyr."I ask cause you call it a priest and its just a control panel cogitator.
The world skills you get at the start of the first wave is 2 mine fields and then you get 1 more mine field on the second wave. I haven't been able to get past the second wave and usually have trouble getting that far. I am using an assassin lvl 52 with a melee build. I have been trying with the difficulty lowered and it doesn't feel possible.
If I fight near the box its too close and something will slip by and deal it a bunch of damage and if I try to cut one side off another will rush in and break the box.
We recently added more World skills to the mission. You can use these to prevent an enemy group getting closer to the Priest before you catch up to them.
I ask cause you call it a priest and its just a control panel cogitator.

Set this current order state as My default.
