- Inquisitor - Martyr Sketchfab Models
First, let us introduce our Helbrute. Go ahead and grab, rotate and flip the model, zoom in or out:
Helbrute by Neocore Games on Sketchfab
Helbrutes were once Dreadnoughts, cybernetic combat walkers, corrupted by Chaos. As you can see on the model, the Helbrute still holds a living Chaos Space Marine (a mockery of the once proud Astartes), driven mad by the influnce of Chaos, condemned to eternal suffering by the Ruinous Powers. Its psychotic nature and immense firepower makes the Helbrute a fearsome enemy of the Imperium.
Péter Tarr, our asset manager has a few words about the technical process as well:
“For WH40k: Inquisitor – Martyr we have Games Workshop approved characters which is being drawn by our inhouse engine: CoreTech 3. It uses PBR shading to give realistic lighting for each kind of materials. Aside from artistic iteration, a well prepared boss character can be done in a few days using our edtior to paint in 3D.
Because our lighting system is a bit different from Sketchfab’s, it took some time to reach this similarity, however it won’t show the CoreTech 3’s full capabilites. For example, we can’t have SSS which gives the skin type materials an extra depth of realism.”
Second, a Renegade Soldier from Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr:
A renegade Imperial Guard soldier, fiercely opposing the forces of the Imperium and the holy Inquisiton. One of the lesser enemies in our game, but not to be dismissed: an Inquisitor must be careful when dealing with these heretics.
