Divine grace bug

Halp! All my characters suddenly started displaying the divine grace dome on them, even on the bridge and on characters that don't use divine grace. I couldn't find a fix online and it's killing my immersion :(

Thanks for your reply! I've previously verified files and just did it again, bug is still there. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the game :(

I've removed it by unchecking "Show energy shield effect" in options. Description says when there are shield points, but I don't understand what are shield points.
