Complaints to some in-game things
Warhammer 40K Feedback1. One time about 2 years ago I saw a suggestion, which Devs thought was such a splendid brilliant idea to have in the game.
It was during the Purge Missions, and why couldn´t Mobs start to run towards you when all Mobs is shown as red dots on Mini-map that is left, instead of you having to run around and spend lots of time locating them. Seriously, it can´t be really that hard to code this in.
I will imagine it is just as easy (or hard) as coding in - Press any button to continue.
2. This bug where you plant Mines in front of Mission Targets, and which actually prevents you from fulfilling your Mission, needs to stop, and it needs to stop and get fixed now. This has been going on for ages now, and I´m starting getting seriously tired of this shit. Because the solution to this is not to just "lure" some Mobs in. This is a unnecessary timeconsuming piece of work to have to do. And in some Missions where there IS NO Mobs left to "lure", there is only one thing one CAN do. Quit!. Which has actually happened to me on a few occasions. And I´m seriously starting getting tired of it. In fact so tired that I´m considering stopping playing this game and wait till it´s properly fixed.
I been talking to other people that actually wants to try out this game, but because of this one single little bugger, they just say they don´t want to play it at all. They choose to not touch it. And mainly and singly because of this little one. It is enough to make them say no to this game.
3. And then we have this Mission that consists of some Catching up with this guy thingy thing. You know what? I have never ever to this very date understood HOW to actually DO this. You were about 2 years ago talking about reshaping the Mission. Overhaul it. Do some changes. And still to this very date I can see that it is NOT DONE anything. Nothing at all. It is still the exact same Mission as it always been/was and is. I would actually wish to do this Mission once. But how it is and been I usually steer clear and stay far away from doing it. Not that I do not understand the Concept of it, but I do not "understand" it. Those few times I actually tried to do this Mission, I may on some occasions reach him and sometimes not reach him. And still, no matter what, even if I stay with my face smack up on his, he beams out, and the Mission is failed. Failed, failed and more FAILED. Always. I mean, WTF.
Yes, these are complaints and meant to be. This should have been fixed ages ago, and it needs to get fixed sooner rather then later, and is extremely annoying. Some of this is starting to get, and IS so annoying that people is starting signing off. And some people even saying NO to playing this game.

- Stun mines could be detonated in a similar fashion as remote mines do, but rather than them exploding on a press of a button, they explode after holding the button down for so many seconds. That way you can continue laying as many as you want, and if they do get in the way of an objective you can detonate them by leaving the button pressed for a few seconds so you don't end up detonating them by accident. I dont know if the engine makes the distinction between pressing a button and leaving it pressed, but if it does its a great temporary solution.
- As for the enemies on the purge map, due to the nature of the mission, all enemies being shown on the map is acceptable. Or force purge missions to always be on those small, linear maps, rather than the large open ones.
or
"Scans have revealed the enemies in the area on your map Inquisitor, hunt them down to the last one" (or something like this, I are not expert on wh40k lore) and they all show on the map the whole time, by removing fog of war for these missions.
- And the catch up mission I agree, there is nothing telling you that you receive a special item, that you need to use when close to the enemy. There is also the issue of the enemy getting one shotted by thunderbolt of authority while chasing him (which also hilariously kills bosses/npcs during cinematics in story mode)
As for the two gamemodes: it would be great to rethink the current concept but there are other things which are considered to be more important on our end. This is way, till this day, there were no changes in this regard. Personally, I support the ideas though.

And the #1, please just do it. Stop thinking about it. Just do it. It takes a Coder probably not more then 10-15 mts to do it.
If you know how long it takes you to Code in the required Action that does - Press any button to continue - then I will imagine - Getting all remaining Mobs to start running towards X when 10% Mobs left - then I will imagine these 2 things for a Coder is not that very hard and timeconsuming to do. Code wise, I believe they are quite similar.
These 2 deserves to be put on Top 5 Priority list if you ask me. And then I cross my fingers that #3 is getting an overhaul so it is both more clearly and understanding.
Set this current order state as My default.
