I have:
* verified the files
* logged out & back in
* deleted everything under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/NeocoreGames/Warhammer
and nothing worked! is my character gone for good? i'll have to ask for a refund if it is.

The problems with our servers got fixed yesterday and since then we received no report about this issue. Please check on the game when you have some time and see if everything is back to normal.

Common problem for now, probably bound to authentication services / servers. We cannot choose a character and in the last hour even log on. I presume support team is working on it with the highest priority :)
Our devs and backend server provider got informed by the problem. They started to work on the issue. No ETA can be provided at the moment as it is unsure yet how long this will take but I can assure you that we are on it. Your patience is kindly asked in the following hours.
