Bug "Requesting Server"

I can play solo just fine, but anytime I try to play a mission with my partner we just get a message saying "Requesting Server". We have tried everything we can think of at this point, including trying to wait it out for about 20 minutes. Is there anything anyone can suggest or do to help please?
