Account Creation

14

I already have an account but it wants me to create one so what i did was randomly type in keys "asfs" and now I'm stuck with "asfs" as my account name and can't recreate/login to a diff account -_-. This is my first time launching the game since buying it on the 10th... not very happy with the poorly designed system....

Just grabbed this today to start testing and same thing.  Mine is saying Account already used and won't proceed.  It's the same name as my account here and I've tried the workaround.

As in you got to "recreate" your account?

My account creation just worked, no idea why, but I'm happy because I can finally have a look at this game and comment.

Kinda wish we could get another response from the devs/gms. Seems like I'm not the only one having this problem.

Same issue here.  Tried the launch option but didn't fix the issue.  Game asks to create a username, no matter what I put in there it says "Unexpected Error" was able to create a character and even get to the mission selection but the game won't connect to an actual level.
That is the exact same problem I have.

If you are asked to create a new account upon starting the game, close and exit.  Open up the properties dialogue for Martyr, and enter the following as a launch option: -login %u %p (where %u is your steam username and %p is your password).  Start up the game again, then when the account creation popup appears, type in your account name (as it appears in the Martyr Forums) and click create.  You will retain your characters but it seems that your currency defaults back to 1000 credits and 50 fate.

Does not work. Still getting the same error

I have the same issue, was asked to create an account when first entering the game, gave a generic account name I use for most games accounts (also my rl name) not realising this would be my chat handle rather than my character name.

I've tried logging out, even reinstalling the game and using your launch option but it just logs me back in each time i start the game with that name. How do we change this?

I'm having a similar problem, it keeps asking me to login and does not accept my name. I've tried the start up properties solution posted below and still can't get it to login.

Thanks for the response Megapull, the launch option that you've suggested doesn't seem to work for me. I've tried my account and password for neocore and steam, the game still recognizes my acct as "asfas."
