I made a video showing that Single Shot animation is not fluid at all when holding A, versus B or RT that keeps your stance while firing. Single Shot with "Hold A" should work the same way Frag Burst with "Hold B" works:

Thanks for the video, it was a valuable addition. We will check this with mouse as well and then correct the problem!
