What good is the season pass?

9

Let me start by saying i truly enjoy this game and am as happy as anyone with the added content in the season 1 patch. Here's my thing tho,  I bought the Imperium edition of this game ( core game + season pass) so far the pass has consisted of 4 cosmetics that imo are cool but not worth $30. The first dlc Charybdis Outpost was not included, had to pay for that, and I read that this season 1 is the first of many FREE content patches that will me made available across all platforms. Now maybe I'm missing something, and $30 is not that big of a deal,  but why offer a season pass at all if most content is just going to be given to you anyways or when small dlc  packs are going to cost you? Once again I think this is a great game and will play the helll out of it, I just the think the reward is a little light  for the price.

If this is a big content update (1.04gb) it terrifies me to see what the small dlc's are going to be.... just saying. If the level 50 end game was the war zone, why is it the same end game for level 70. I was the first to push to 1000 in the war zone and it was too easy, I can only imagine it's like God mode at level 70..... this may entertain new players just coming into the game, but I bought from launch and was bored to death after 1 and 1/2 months. I haven't played since.

"...and was bored to death after 1 and 1/2 months."

Hey Yellow :)

Over all I think, warzone grind is the best place to grind items, fate, wz points to upgrade every char to the top. And FOR ME there is so much to do: cabal leveling, Heroic Deeds, PAs for morality, warzone grind, (maybe pvp?) co-op-fun without CEs.

Other rushing the Leaderboards. But there are so much good and more motivating game & will release ;P

C'est la vie!  Well, IQM is one of the best wh40k games ever!

But you know, i understand what you mean. New endgamecontent is needed. Maybe Farmingquests around the sectors for awesome crafting, or so :D

I hope to see you again Yellow, anytime - anywhere

Greetings to the unclean.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I honestly do love this game and I meant no offense to the players or Neocore. I think this game is their best product to date. I bought the game the day after release and did not realize the outpost dlc  was a pre order bonus. I don't mean to sound ungrateful and I appreciate the fact that they want to expand on the game for free to keep the players happy. I was just confused as i have seen no "season pass" content since release. So again i apologize for my lack of knowledge on this matter and wish you all happy gaming.
Best product to date ????

Damn with all those bugs and the wait !! I bought the game 2 months ago and I was able to play for 3 weeks and spent 6 weeks waiting for my characters to be unlocked, and still waiting at the moment !!

I'll stay away from previous and futur releases !

It's totally understandable that it was not clear for you that the mentioned DLC was not included in the Season pass which led to confusion. Hopefully I could clear things up for you.

Except that the only DLC we've gotten so far is Charybdis Outpost, and we had to pay extra for it. So... as usual you seem to be missing the point. If Marcopolocs ever retires, you'd be perfect to take over for him.
Yes, and the Charybdiss Outpost was only originally available to get during the period if you actually pre-ordered the game in/from an actual store, this also included Online Stores which actually also have physical Stores to run.. This DLC was not a part of the actual Season Pass.

And we PC players is not having this DLC either. Yet. But I guess it will become available for us as well one day.

Just as @BROTHER KUNDARI‍ said the Seasons are different and will be available for everyone for free. These are bigger content updates, there will be a couple more to come.

As for the Season pass it will contain several DLCs coming out in the following year and those who own the Season pass can get the DLCs for free.
The Charybdis Outpost DLC is not included in the Season pass due it was a pre-order bonus during the pre-order period.

Well, as far as I do know the Season Pass for you Console plrs will make sure you get all the upcoming DLCs for the next 12 full months of DLC worth. Next to ALL FREE downloads/updates. As far as I know, this is going to include approximately 2 DLCs per month. This includes any kind of PAID DLC. Small, Medium or Large, and even Extra Large I assume.
