(PS4) multiplayer question

Hey fellow gamers, 


I recently picked this game up. I enjoy it so far. I am a lvl 10 heavy Gunner Crusader. So I'm quite new. 

When I go to the online multiplayer terminal on my ship, I only see Invite friends. But how do you do online multiplayer with other people?

There is a matchmaking panel where you can start searching for a party. After 4 players are assembled the mission automatically starts.

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it.

I did see the matchmaking panel from the beginning but I can't select it with L1. Only 'Friends' 

I am a little confused. I like the game a lot, but it's very complicated.

Its not you its the game. You should be able to select Matchmaking from that menu by pressing L1. 


Also if you manage to get into matchmaking be prepared that there will not be 4 players playing, so good luck finding a match.

you must complete another one the story mission so that side missions appear on the starmap and matchmaking become available.

Yes. With my new Psyker character I have done 3 online missions. Finding matches is not very fast but I found 3 matches this evening.

I created a new character and progressed a little further into the game. Now I can play online :)

I was able to get into 1 game but got the server not working message that put me in the start menu. Funny tho if i didnt press x i could see the game continuing on the backround for the other player.

The game is not very stable. I did 4 online games yesterday. Waited around 7 minutes for a online game.

But never crashed out from a online game yet. So that's positive for me.

Well if you are ps4 could give you a shout when my bro and I play, sadly all our friends wont be joining us because of the poor online condition between rubberbanding and this weeks loggin issue

I haven't had any issues past 2 days. Finding a game don't take long right now. Yess iam on ps4. What timezone are you?
