Performance & FPS Issues

7

I had 2 questions in terms of optimization & FPS. My Laptop is a Low-Mid Tier Laptop with decent performance, I love the game, but this was the first time I found myself facing 1 FPS - 14 FPS. Which was surprising since I play other games that can be graphically intensive like

Dying Light: Mid Graphical Setting 25-30 FPS

Overwatch: Mid Graphical Setting 30-40 FPS

Warframe: Mid Graphical Setting 50-60 FPS

My Laptop specs are

CPU I5 2.40GHZ

GPU AMD Radeon R5 M230 2GB (I believe)

Ram 8GB

My question is are we going to expect better optimization for the game in the upcoming patches? and is there a fix or a workaround that can help me out for the time being?

Mobile versions of even the 10xx series will be hurting trying to get this game running. My processor is clocked at over 6Ghz, I have ultra fast 32GB ram, and a 1080 and this game is crushing my rig and I'm lucky to get over 40fps. However, other than hearing my poor video card get worked over with the fans kicking into high gear, the game is perfectly playable at 35+ fps (except for coop of course, which is horribly broken at the moment.)

Are you on a laptop?

I have tried, but that was of little effect. regardless of the combination of settings, it made no difference. Someone did mention that the game has not been optimized for laptops yet and performs better on desktops.

Oh to answer your question whether it's drivers or any software updates, I am up to date.

Im getting fps issues as well. My i7 4790k 16gb 1866 ram and my gtx 1080 wont let me run at  constant 60 fps max settings at 1080p.

My only other go to, is to make sure your drivers are up to date.  This is where my "help" ends :(

Got them all on Low and turned off. It has little effect on performance.

First I would take a look at what Video settings you have.  Shadows/Textures/HighShaders/SubserfaceScattering/HighEffects are ONLY  a few of the several settings you should look into .... they will all eat up what GPU power you have for basic play.

Crank those puppies down till you find something you like.
