Neocore, when are you going to make damage/balance/rewards great again?
Warhammer 40K DiscussionYou drastically buffed enemies.
You drastically nerfed all the best damage sources.
There are no great, reliable, consistent raw damage sources because most of the items are crap.
Now all that remains is gimmicks.
So the question remains...when are you going to make damage great again? Are you ever going to give us end-game loot? Or are you going to keep nerfing the classes (great job with the Crusader, btw...nerfing the tanky class' tankiness was pure genius), while buffing the enemies some more? I think this would be the right move, as it would make the most difficult content even MORE grindy (and borderline impossible) for 99.9% of builds.
Also, why do Berserker builds get 1500%+ extra damage (WAY worse than the "OP" stuff that we used to have), while the rest of us get +100%? Thanks to Swag for his vids...I didn't even know about the crazy, unlimited Berserker token stacking, thanks to the 10% enchant. I also recently found out that Radical characters get access to a great token generator as well. Btw, great job, Nerfcore, on providing this valuable information.
Why does the stun explode enchant still dominate packs, while the other 99% have to hack away for 10 minutes?
Why do Psykers still have perma-invulnerability? And the best overall damage. And the best mobility. And the easiest gameplay (even easier than Grav-Gun, thanks to EZ PZ AOE + safety + tele).
You guys are really amazing at balancing. Again, as a general reminder, you left in Berserker token builds that grant you virtually unlimited damage/crit %/crit strength/damage reduction/life on hit/life regen, while nerfing everything that was good (that used to grant around 800% extra damage).

- +40% chance to get a Berserk token for each Inferno applied.
- 1.0 to 3.0 Berserk tokens on losing at least 10% HP in 1 second
- 2.0 to 4.0 Critical Hit Chance and Critical Strength per Berserk token
- 4.0% to 6.0% Damage Bonus per Berserk token
- 8.0 to 20.0 HP gained on Hit per Berserk token
- 8.0 to 20.0 HP regeneration per Berserk token
- 4.0% to 6.0% Suppression Damage Bonus per Berserk token
- The Radical perk (didn't even know about this one) that grants a Berserk token on 5% life lost
CONSIDERING YOU CAN GET 100+ (easy) TOKENS, you can have:
- 130 * 4 = "520%"+ crit chance and 520+ crit strength
- 130 * 6 * 2 (two signums) = 1560%+ extra damage (just from 3 enchants...LOL)
- 130 * 20 = 2600HP on hit
- 130 * 20 = 2600HP/sec life regen
- 130 * 6 = 780% suppression damage bonus
MAN YOU GUYS ARE BALANCE GENIUSES! GOOD JOB!
GREAT WORK ON NERFING WHAT USED TO BE GOOD. GREAT WORK ON DESTROYING MY OLD "OP" BUILD.
ABSOLUTE GENIUSES!

Maybe i should try to impliment them into one of my chars? To test it a little before it gets nerfed too...
Eagerly awaiting Neocore's response.

Anyway I don't even want to play around with endgame builds, they could just neuter it at a whim. Feel like I'm playing a beta or an early access game, they're redesigning it on the fly by trial and error. Gonna level up latest character then move on, maybe come back if they ever get it stabilized.
Allow me to share some of my thoughts.
1. I agree that Psyker has been ridiculously strong for a long time, while Techpriest, as a DLC character, remains to be less pleasing, even with recent improvements.
And I'm amazed to see that they are cutting down the damage reduction of crusader armor, as if it was a priority.
Though I can cope with these new difficulties, it did make me wonder how much time do the dev guys actually spend in playing games they designed themselves.
2. Still, I'm little surprised to find that so many people don't even know about Berserker token builds.
Berserker builds are strong at very hard difficulties, because berserker tokens stack very high since you can "sell HP for tokens" to quickly stack Berserk tokens.
But such stacking strategy is less-efficient under normal void crusade maps (which most players spend most time to gather items), makes Enraged builds a good alternative.
For this reason, I don't see great harm for Berserk builds in balancing.
In fact, Berserk builds may be the only salvation for some melee characters in hard levels, especially with recent turn of events (lower DR, weaker Augmented Body II).
So, personally , I have to disagree with the hatred that treecargarage showed towards Berserk builds.
Please let it be, at least before other mechanisms are created to replace it.

honestly, neocore isn't going to respond to you - they don't owe you anything, after all. You paid for a product knowingw hat you were getting and you got it, and you spent a lot of time with that product.
you should just leave the game alone for 6 to 12 months and come back then, stuff will have changed enough that you might be pleasantly surprised and all your hatred that is just spewing from you currently will dissipate.
As an aside,m the new edition of warhammer 40,000 tabletop is out on the weekend, seems like providence, go play the parent game instead, at least the tournament scene will appeal to you. :)

Who can do the hardest difficulties now?
1) psykers with stun splode
2) anyone using berserker tokens
They nerfed debuffs which granted 800% damage and instead gave others double that damage.
Nerfcore is a joke...last night, I once again deleted everything. This time for good, since I created a new character afterwards (so that nothing can be recovered).
Nerfcore has proven time and time again that they don't know what they're doing.
PS. I knew about berserker tokens long ago, but what I did NOT know about is the 6% damage per token enchant that appears on relic signums. Is this a new enchant? I don't recall ever seeing it...maybe because berserker tokens never stuck out for me.
