Not been able to connect to the neocore servers for 2 days now. Bought this game for £30 two days ago and can't get past the title screen. I'm on xbox one and all my other games work fine. Was really looking forward to playing this but now I feel like iv just been stung for 30 quid. Can this be fixed?

Even if they only give you 5, it's still more value than you'll get if you keep it.

It really is mate. Been trying to play this for days and the only progress I have made is watching the same bloody cut scene over and over again. Its really beyond a joke. You think lessons would have been learned regarding DRM. Neocore have just lost £250 as iv told my friends not to bother with this. I just hope the game shop will accept it as a return so I can get my money back

Totally agree with you, both suckered in by our interest in 40k and this is what we get. I work in the emergency services and gami g is what I do to relax after coming off the shift and this has been anything but relaxing. It literally feels like a case of "we have your money now so fuck you". I had never heard of neocore before this and I was looking for a decent looter shooter that me and my mates could play on the run up to borderlands 3 coming out so I told them I would try inquisitor and let them know. Needless to say iv told the 5 guys that I game with not to touch this with a barge pole. And at the time I'm typing this message I still haven't been able to find anything regarding the server issue online from neocore

Down for me too on XB1, again. Demoralizing to say the least.

This exact same scenario played out yesterday. For one, you'd think given DRM experiences of other companies that they'd learn a valuable lesson, and secondly, given the experience of literally 24 hours ago they'd learn from that experience. Neither are true. They already have our money, and they own the rights to control the game we bought; what incentive do they have to do anything about it? In no other market is this acceptable. You wouldn't buy a car if the dealer got to use it when he wanted, and you certainly wouldn't buy it if the above was true AND it was a lemon in the first place. That's what we've got here though, and we're both equally dumb for buying it. It's a sad day when the consumer of a product feels like the idiot for buying a faulty item that the seller can't guarantee the quality of.

That's what I'm in the middle of doing. Just saying that I was sucked in with the idea of a diablo type game set in the 40k universe is a really cool and exciting idea but I just makes it even worse when you realise the thing is paralysed by DRM so just stick to diablo and save yourselves money. Thing is as well, iv emailed neocore support and no one has got back to me, not team member has responded to me on the hub and I can't even see anything regarding it on their twitter ect. The lack of info and support is just as frustrating as their bronze age servers

Write a review on the Xbox store. Their own players can't contact them in a timely manner, so our only option is to keep other people from wasting their money on this content. This has gotten to the point where I checked upcoming Warhammer games to make sure Neocore isn't involved and they aren't DRM. Looks like Chaosbane is our only hope of a decent console release. Looks likeBig Ben is still the publisher of that game for whatever that counts for.

Surely you would have thought that after the DRM fiasco that was D3 and then companies like (correct me if I'm wrong) Ubisoft basically admitting that always online DRM doesn't work anyway so why have it? If I could have even played the game offline on my own terms like you said, I probably would have been happy enough and not came on here moan lol

No, definitely not just you. It's the entire Xbox, and only Xbox, player base apparently. The game has been out for how long and we're still not allowed to play the game on the whims of their servers? DRM is a joke. I'd gladly take avoidable servers full of cheaters like in D3 if it meant I was ALLOWED to play the game I purchased.

So it's not just me then? Good to know I'm not alone but still inexcusably ridiculous as well. How can servers be down for like 2 days for no reason.

Apparently it can't. They were down most of yesterday, came on early today, and went down again. Hope you like seeing the title screen, it's the most expensive one you'll ever own.
