Did you click the item, bottom right? It should give you a 'claimed' window and the item should be in the appropriate tab, you are on the weapons tab in the screenshot.

Seems to be a confirmed bug, the crafting.
The floating armor - I've had that too... got spooked royally during my latest video when it just came floating through the screen :D
