I recently got some friends into the game and they are pretty far below my level. I recalled level scaling working before 2.0 but after the level system changed I can't find any info about it.
If I'm level 60 and my friend is level 30 and I group with him will I still get a similar amount of xp from kills and missions?
Will he get less experience since I'm such a high level?
Also is there experience sharing when it comes to kills in co-op?

The amount of XP depends on the host's level.
In case the host chooses a lower level mission then he and the rest of the party will get smaller amount of XP regardless of the levels the other members are on. This logic goes for the higher level missions.
Everyone receives equal XP after killing enemy units. The amount of XP won't be split up, everyone gets the full XP.
On the other hand the damage penalty and damage output penalty will also be valid to everyone.
