- Freeze and crash at ...
Hello, new and happy owner of Inquisitor here :)
I'm here because I've a little problem with the game that simply does not allow me to play beyond the second mission whether I launch under Martyr or Prophecy.
It look like that:
I'm playing the second mission and during the mission (never at the same moment during it), the screen froze (sound with it) and then, after few second, I get a blue screen from windows on an unexpected error.
I've tried:
-Allowing Inquisitor on MS FireWall (was on the list already) and on Kaspersky... but if it was not on their list it should have crash from the start.
-Upgrade Nvidia is on the way.
I would prefer not to have to re-install both of the game because I don't have a superfast connection, and it take around 7h to get it the first time :D
So if you have any other ideas, I take it :D
Edit: Made a re-install + upgrade of Nvidia Experience and drivers, the game still freeze and reboot the computer after a blue screen

Could you please send a verbose log file by launching the game, logging in with one character, play until it crashes and then send the file?
How to create and send it:
Right click on the game in the Steam Library
Hit Properties
Click "Set Launch Options"
Enter "verbose_logging=1" WITHOUT the quote marks
like this: https://i.gyazo.com/d1ed0d3f1a3c3a34774945a557a0ef2a.png
Click OK and start the game. Here please do as mentioned above - log in open store etc
Go to Documents/NeocoreGames/Warhammer Martyr/ and find a warhammer.txt
Send it to [email protected]
It would be of great help, thanks in advance!
I was also thinking about (as last resort) moving the game with steam mover to my SSD or any disk with space, until the prob is fixed, but I sincerely prefer not to if that possible.
Anyway, thanks a lot for you help :)
Anyway I'll wait and give you a feedback as soon as I get it and try it.
As a last resort would you try reinstalling the game on a different drive? That also helped a couple of players.
Crash fixes are in progress on our end - in case the above mentioned solution won't work I'm pretty sure our colleagues will be able to handle it from our end!
Your log is being analyzed by our devs, they will do their best to resolve the problem by the next patch. Sorry for the trouble!
You can stop working on it, and I do apologize for the waste of time.
I've stressed my PC with another game and monitored my CPU et GPU during it, I had the same prob.
Some month ago I changed my thermic paste because my CPU was overheating (and while restarting my PC was warning about it). To correct it I changed the thermic paste and I thought (it did a bit) worked. But I turned out my CPU get up to 100 degres while playing Martyr, that why it restart (but without any warning, that why I didn't thought about it right away).
So I changed again the paste with a fresh one (the other was a bit too old even in the tube), and now it work perfectly.
Sorry again for the waste of time (and my english ^^), and thanks for your reactivity, it's pretty much impressive.
I decided yesterday to reinstall the game, but I can't put it on another disk (actually on a WD black because it's the best I got for quick data access, the rest are WD Green and a SSD for my system, but steam on the black and only the system on the SSD because it's a 120Go with only 42Go avaible).
So for now, I hope just the reinstall will be enough, but for now I still have 2h of downloading.... Damn VDSL :D
